BV Shared Use Kitchen

Originally home to Beta Verde’s (BV) award winning jams and pickles, the Beta Verde Kitchen is a modest Department of Agriculture certified kitchen space fulfilling the need of a few food entrepreneurs who need space to test their culinary ideas and produce on a small scale in a very affordable place. Little did BV know that this simple kitchen would be and remain one of the only options in town. The BV Kitchen has quickly become home to some of Winston-Salem’s favorite food entrepreneurs whose offerings often include fresh products from area sustainable farms. Expanding on the food community’s supportive spirit, connection and collaboration is at the heart of the ‘baker’s dozen’ of businesses that have grown out of the BV Kitchen into the most highly regarded farmers markets, independent and regional grocers, and bricks and mortar spaces. Retreats & Rentals

At Beta Verde we offer airy, open meeting spaces and can accommodate seating and table space for 15-20 people as well as cozy furniture for those not-so-formal gatherings. A kitchen island provides the hub for casual discussion and food. In every room, you’ll find your eyes are drawn to the large windows overlooking the grounds displaying the thriving flora and fauna throughout all seasons of the year. Located just 10-15 minutes from Wake Forest University and Downtown Winston-Salem and less than 10-miles from Winston Salem State University and UNC School of the Arts, BV is perfect for half or full day retreats! Special Happenings

Beta Verde brings ideas and issues to fruition through connectivity. We enjoy making space and place for special moments or events ranging from celebrations of love and friendship to artistic productions and culinary workshops. Often our work begins with a shared meal, conversation, experience or general happening hosted by our team (or outside groups) at Beta Verde, the place. The 16 acre setting and open floor plan house provide the canvas for endless possibilities which fit naturally in the environs and the spirit of Beta Verde.
